until the Air Show
RAF Leuchars Air Show is one of the UK's premier Air Shows and regularly attracts up to 40,000 visitors, presenting an ideal trading opportunity. If you feel you would like to be part of this event please read the Trade Guide and Regulations and complete the Application Form below.
Please do not submit Food, Confectionery, Ice Cream or Amusements applications as these are contracted separately. Places are sold in standard 3 x 3 Metre sites from £150.
Hangar 55 is one of RAF Leuchars oldest working hangars with many original features still on show today. Space within the hangar is limited and highly sought after. Sites are arranged in a horseshoe shape to maximise use of the unusual floor space. Located near the pedestrian entrance and the static aircraft displays, traders within the hangar benefit from significant footfall numbers.
Places are sold in standard 3 x 3 Metre sites from £150. Each site booked receives 1 vehicle and 2 staff passes. Additional passes are available, please refer to application form for charges.
There is always great demand for Trade Space so you are strongly advised to return your application promptly to avoid disappointment. As a likely guide to layout, please refer to the Site Map. Pitches are allocated on a "first-come first-served" basis.
The Trade Guide & Regulations lay down specific items that are prohibited from sale. Traders failing to comply will be prevented from further trading and will forfeit the full site fee. Fife Council Trading Standards Team will be on site monitoring all traders’ activities. Please note paragraph entitled “Insurance” which stipulates that all traders should have third party indemnity of at least £5,000,000. Proof of your insurance must be supplied with your application.
All traders must complete the simple Risk Assessment forms attached to the Application Form.
Traders should be aware that there is no provision for overnight accommodation on site. Please visit our accommodation pages for local hotels, guest houses and B&B's.
To avoid traffic congestion after the show, traders are required to cease business no earlier than 6pm and depart under the directions of the Organisers and Police Scotland. Any traders attempting to leave early will be directed to a special holding area where they will be held until all other traffic has departed.
To promote your sales we work in partnership with 123 Hire for mobile credit card machine hire. Apply here.
