For 2013 RAF Leuchars Air Show has teamed up again with Traffic Scotland to provide comprehensive and up to date travel information via a bespoke event mini-site which is due to be launched shortly. In the meantime please check the Traffic Scotland website for the latest news on road conditions and modes of transport available when planning your journey to Leuchars. We highly recommend that you don’t just jump in your car and hope for the best but plan your journey and follow the AA signs – don’t rely on your sat nav.

Routing Reminder

Drivers heading for the Airshow are advised to expect delays and to leave plenty of time for their journey. To minimise delays visitors should switch off their Sat Navs and follow the AA signs and directions from Police Scotland.

Routing Information

In collaboration with Police Scotland and Fife Council we have devised a system whereby parking will be in three Park & Ride sites with a limited number of high tariff parking spaces and disabled parking available on base.

The buses will have a dedicated route to Leuchars, with the journey taking approximately 20 to 25 minutes. The three Park & Ride sites are located on the map and will be colour coded. Each Park & Ride site will have a designated drop off/pick up point on base and will be colour coded accordingly.

RAF Leuchars Airshow would ask that you consider car sharing. By car sharing, you could save money on your petrol costs and reduce the environmental impact of your journey.
